Rihanna graces the cover of Atlanta's Peach magazine

The singer speaks candidly about various topics including her relationship with her father, the firing of her promo lead and playing second fiddle to Tierra Marie.

On Her Relationship With Her Father

“I am actually embarassed by that. I don’t like speaking about it because I am not proud of it. But it is something that helped make me who I am today. Now people know that I am not perfect and that I had real conflicts. My dad is not pleased, because he is embarassed. We still have not sat and had a conversation about it.”

On Firing Her Marketing Person

“I felt like my girlie image was boring and contrived and generic. I was so restricted. I could not wear red . If I did I would get cursed out by my marketing person. I did a big performance on an and I won some awards and [was happy] , but as soon as I got off the plane, I got the nastiest email from her about [my looks]. I then realized she was not treating me like a human being so I cut her off.

On Becoming a Superstar After Playing Second Fiddle To Tierra Marie

That [was] a funny situation, but I always remained humble. I was just the little Caribbean girl. You have to be good to people. I could very easily say it’s all karma…God has favor on me and has blessed me, and I cannot even thank Him enough.

Kingdom Come

The New York City stop of the Screamfest 07 tour turns out to be the concert of the year.
The king of the south ushered in the hip hop royalty wenesday night at the garden as Diddy, 50 Cent, Swizz Beatz, Kanye West and Jay-Z all made surprise visits to the stage that night.

The One Man Band Man

Swizz Beatz or the monster or the one man band man or whatever he is calling him self these days brings the the second best album of the summer next to T.i. Vs. T.i.P. The product man the name of the first song on the aforementioned album gets the party started with some crazy strings and an infectious baseline that brings you after swizz goes for broke letting everybody know his history. The songs short play time is what makes his storytelling sound hot as well as the choice ad libs that are Jeezy and Kanye worthy. Next at bat is the song that started this train moving in the first place it's me bitches. The song hits really quick and because it is the second song on the album it's quick takeoff makes the song bang just like when you first heard it. The third song to spin is Big Munny the (no that is not a typo he spells it like that) gives his money a chance to show off because unlike most new artists he actually is not lying about it and the beat is metal basketball net rattling. The fourth track is where the album starts to ascend and really take off just like the other beats this one knocks and right from the start and Swizz him self starts to get off with the reminiscent hook borrowed from the song down bottom which was featured on Ruff Ryders vol. 1 compilation bust ya gunz. This tracks also lets the Ruff Ryder's renegade Drag-On to do what he does best spit fire. The next one to take swing hits a double and slows the album down for a second but in a good way because Swizz does his thing on the spaced out track staying in his lane and rhyming around a pretty good hook that works with beat You Know your boy did that. The sixth song is the only misstep I see in the band man's strut. The track is good almost great if a another rapper could have got off on it. It would have been hot is he would have let Cassidy spit a quick freestyle over it just to catch everybody off guard. The next track take a picture gets the party started again with with a B. Wither's lovey day sample and a good hook Take a picture. Top down the next song brings it back to year 2007 and crisp rhymes and a even tighter beat as usually on this album. The ninth track needs no discussion Money in the bank.
The tenth cut is where swizz gets recruits the british lead singer of the band Coldplay Chris Martin and creates a nice song that gives the album a little more depth part of the plan. The Last one to bat is Snithches remix feat the pied piper, jadakiss and weezy f. this cuts is really the crescendo of the collection and ends it perfectly leaving a lasting effect of a great summer album one that will know doubt remind you of the summer of 2007.
